In reference to the Tuna post that began with post by DoggyDaddy , my favorite Subway sandwich was a Tuna sub.
That is until the last time I ordered one (~ 5 yrs. ago). I became ill with gastro-intestinal symptoms . I swore off buying from Subway since that time.
Looked , smelled and tasted like Tuna-maybe it was---maybe it was not.
Regardless , Have not purchased from Subway since .
I feel Subway is the absolute worst of all the chain sub stores. They put the least amount of meat on their subs than anyone. On top of that they are also the most bland of them also.
Stop and think, order a black forest ham sub and you get like 4 thin slices of ham folded over to make it look like more, there's a reason they load up those veggies when you ask for them, it's to make it look more appealing. Their subs look nothing even remotely close to the pictures, coupled with the fact that the majority of the stores are franchisee's

I'm sure flavored cardboard tastes better.

Reminds me of an old joke:

The quickest way to get a minimum wage job,

    Buy a Subway franchise...

The test I wish they would do is to see how radioactive Tuna and other Pacific caught fish are these days. Fukishima has been dumping radioactive wastes into the ocean for 10 years now...

Someone has to have a 12 year old can of tuna stashed away somewhere, pop it open and a new Starkist can and compare the two.
