No firearms allowed

I was just told that a Denny's in Ill. told a LEO to go put there handgun in the car or they was not welcome. Not sure if this is an Illinois thing or national.

As far as I took it. It was the manager. Another manager overruled the problem manager and told them they could stay. They got offended and left. They were plain clothes detectives with visible badges/guns. The manager that told them they had to leave should be booted.

I recently ate at Denny's in Speedway OC and had NO issues, even talked to the manager on duty about this issue and she thought that it was insane to ask the officers to disarm.
