I was wondering how hard it was going to be to get the local law enforcement to sign off, but after reading this can't wait for my paperwork in a couple of days. Thanks a lot.

Great post. Can a person submit NFA paperwork for two or more NFA items on the same form or does each silencer/ Short Barrel Rifle/ Short Barrel Shotgun/ AOW need to be submitted seperately?

I know for a form 1 its one item per form, not sure about a form 4.

I would guess that since each item has its own stamp, that each item also has to have its own Form. I don't know this for a fact, however. Certainly having each item on its own form would make it easier to sell later on.

    Thanks, 21st Century

Well, I made my first Class III purchase yesterday @ The 1500. Was kinda overwhelmed going into the whole thing but after talking with Jahred (Gamez235) @ 21st Century, and reading over this thread I began to look forward to it rather than dread the process. Thanks, again to Jahred for selling me a Tac-65 for my P22. Let the fun begin!:rockwoot:

I live abroad and am curious about what parts of the process I need to be physically present for.

    Purchase of Silence, paperwork, obviously.
    LEO sign-off and Fingerprints.
    Final pick-up.

    Anything missing?

No, you don't need a passport; you just need two passport photos to attach to your Form 4.

My two photo's were cut from a normal 4x6 picture. It was about 2x3 when I was done and taped it to the forms. They still accepted it and sent me my stamp.

July 7, 2007: Received a PM from Britton at 21st Century Firearms:

So let me get this straight.

You purchased the suppressor, paid, got a CLEO fingerprinting, filed it all, then went BACK IN TIME nearly 2 years to get your suppressor?

THAT is some serious effort. Got an extra flux capacitor? :D
