Hey everyone!

To be honest, I don't technically qualify as an "Indiana Gun Owner", as I have not purchased my first firearm yet. It seemed like a better idea for me to do some homework first, since I have very limited experience with guns. In my searching, I came across this site and really enjoyed the wealth of information that was readily available.

As for purchasing my first firearm, I have looked around online and recently (today) spoke with the staff at H&H Firearms here in Ft. Wayne. I am thinking of purchasing a Ruger SR9 as my first gun for personal protection. All of the reviews I read online were excellent and it felt very comfortable in my hand, leading me to believe that this may be the gun for me. So... let me know what you think!
