So why not get rid of the 50 quality post thing then? It was initiated to thin out the flippers!
It's been like that either since the new format or the name change. I can't remember which.

It is why I have found funny the people lecturing new guys about how the classifieds are a benefit and secondary function.

You can highly customize what you see in the "new posts" listing. You can choose which sub forums by first watching the ones you want to include. You can choose whether to get notifications or not.

Then on the new posts page select filter and check the box for watched content.

You can check the box to save as default.

The downside is you won't get any posts in forums NOT being watched and it could take some time to set up.

All screenshots on my phone so your user experience may differ.

Seems to me I have noticed alot of posts in the wrong area since the website changed. Also, people replying with questions and comments in the classified ads when they should be direct messaging.

The majority are newish folk who didn't read the rules.

I bet most who post in the wrong area are working from a mobile device. It's harder to see the forum structure.

    I gotta admit.
I posted a comment in a WTS ad.
Someone told me it was against the rules. (Which I did read.)
So I reported my comment to the mods, asked them to delete it, and apologized for being a maroon.

Okay. My sig line had my quotes, but not a pic I had.
So, I went to edit it.

First, it said I had too many lines. Even though it was displaying the ones I had.
Second, when I copied my pic from Imgur, it showed up in the sig line, but it had a "share" icon on it.

I deleted some line to get rid of the first problem. I don't like it, because I also had to get rid of the spacing between quotes.
Second problem, I deleted my pic.

Anyone have a solution to either problem?

    Question about site supporter?

Does it not let you renew until AFTER the year is up?
Cause I can't see how to renew, except for as an advertiser/trainer/etc.

What have you folks figured out on "bookmarks?" I have not figured how to use them.

I'm still having a lot of difficulty with the search function turning up useful results. I had a heck of a time trying to find this thread again.

I will pass along that on the new format the ignore feature works fantastic. The way it should have in the past.

Ignored posts are not even seen, much less taking up real estate in the thread. The only way ignored posts are even known to exist is if they are quoted. If ignored posts are quoted/seen, they are very simple to view if chosen or simply skip over.

Way easier on the head and belly to not have to deal with the overbearing sorts who provide little or nothing educational. :twocents:

Your bookmarks are accessed by tapping your avatar and then the bookmark tab. image_2021_02_20_19_20_44.jpg

You can label them when you save them and then search for them by label.

You create a bookmark using the icon next to the post #
