Thinking or giving a newly commissioned young army offer a springfield GI 45 as his commissioning gift.

I would like something simple engraved on it, Probably just words but I have no local sources

Any recommendations in the Indy / Hamilton county area?

I'd call a local jewelry shop. Most good jewelers can engrave some words on just about anything.

This is pretty good advice. I have some amateur engraving training and even with the basic machine I had I could engrave just about anything that would fit in the machine.

I imagine an expert can do anything.

Where are you located? There is a guy in Evansville that has done some great work. Will find his name and post it later.

I was thinking about getting INGO engraved on the slide of my G17
