Nam 1892 French Lebel revolver bring back!

1892 French Lebel revolver brought home by SP/4 Charles Shoemaker who was a member of the 716th MP Battalion. Included in the paperwork was the vets phone number which I tried today but was unsuccessful at contacting him. I don’t believe I’ve seen another Lebel bring back from Vietnam.

Very cool, that was pretty long in the tooth by that time. Mine is in a bit better shape. The Abadie loading system is quite interesting, but the cylinder swinging out to the right is a little unusual.
