My New Hunting Rifle

I shoot a Remington (Benjamin) .22 nitro piston rifle and it does very well with small game and small varmits too. Much quieter than my spring guns and faster too... especially after being cocked all day in the cold.

What pellets do you find your nitro piston likes?

Strange target, I know..but here's an 8 shot group at 40yds after rezeroing my scope. Was kinda mad at myself for the one shot, but it's still not a bad group considering.

That was yesterday afternoon before my friend stopped by to play.

First time i have seen a floppy disk as a target, but probably all they are good for these days.

LOL. I still have Windows 3.11 (it works, but there are no drivers for any modern hardware). I was out of paper targets, So I duct taped it to a plywood board and aimed for the spindle.

Furthest left is the top view of an unfired 145gr Benjamin Ballistic tip .357 bullet. Center is of course a US quarter. Right is a recovered bullet fired into a semi-hard target (wet phone books) at 28 yds. At it's widest point it is .836". The Rogue fires these guys at 247 m/s (810 fps) average with a 5 shot string. Highest velocity 254.2 m/s (834 fps), lowest 244.8 m/s (803 fps).
