I haven't seen anything lately on movie theaters that are wanding customers. Anyone know which ones? Noblesville area?

    I'd rather patronize one that doesn't. ;)

I've seen them with wands at special pre-screenings of movies from places like "gofobo" in castleton at the amc, but I'm not sure if the wand was to detect firearms or recording devices.

I carry every time I go to the movies. If they aren't going to let me in with my side arm, I'll be asking politely for a refund.

Just went to Star wars at Hamilton Commons Imax over the weekend. No wands or checks of any kind. Walked in, got tickets, got corn and went to my seat.

My youngest son works at the Portage IMAX. For the Star Wars opening no masks or laser swords or whatever those things are called were allowed in. They employ off duty Portage police for security. Large contingent of them for opening night.

Opening night (Thursday) for Star Wars at Hamilton Town Center in Noblesville, nothing special, we were all armed.
I saw it Friday night, same theater. I had to chuckle a little when they told us we couldn't have our plastic lightsabers. Took them back to the car and walked right back in still carrying my EDC knife, pistol and extra mag. My conclusion is that theater security is nothing more than security theater.
