The Four Corners is interesting, My dad took us out west for 2 months in a Coleman Popup,
I was 13 in 71 when we did it. If I recall correctly then it was in the middle of no where with a concrete marker and it was just us and a single elderly American Indian that posed for pictures for a dollar.
Looks like a great trip, travel safe.

I've never owned a bike that would be good for long hauls and have never done a road trip like that. I'd love to but I wouldn't want to do it alone either.
