For all of you that ride, who is your insurance with??

I have a clean record, 33 in may, CDL, no accidents.

Bike is 04 yamaha midnight roadstar 1700.

coverage is 500k/500k/100k, med pay of 2000, comp 250 deduct, collision $1000 deduct, uninsured 500K.

My rate is gradually went up since I bought the bike new, so I am starting to shop around.

No comparison as far as bikes and likely coverage, but I pay $125 annually with State Farm.

Consider yourself lucky. Try insuring a 1000cc sportbike. Starts out at $800 a year up to $4300 a year.

Those quotes were for me, 39 years old, own my home, no points on license, no accidents.

I had the bare minimum coverage to ride legally through Progressive, I paid $100 for the year. I insured a 92' Suzuki Katana GSX750F and I was 18 at the time. Every place else quoted me around $1000+ for the year.

Dude..... Honestly..... Call 317-545-0526. Dave Trueblood. Tell him Roger Smith told you to call. I'd be very surprised if he doesn't blow that rate all to Hades!!!!! :patriot:

I've been with State Farm for a long time since they were willing to overlook what my bike was (no sportbike markup) so long as I insured my car with them too.

It shouldn't be too hard to get a good rate for that bike, I wouldn't think. Make a few calls...

I am about the same age, coverage and driving record with a 07 GSXR 600. Originally I went with GEICO. I recently switched to State Farm. State Farm is about 1/3 the cost of GEICO. I think the polocy is less then $200 a yeay for much better polocy.

On sports bikes you are best with a standard carrier, State Farm, Geico, Progressive, Allstate, Grange, etc

For a bike like yours Liberty Mutual does great. Yes I work there but that is how I know. The only hitch is that you have to have your auto policy to write a bike.

Also, each person is different, especially with a bike. If you are interested hit up on pm or check out my site. Sales Representative

I have written three INGOers insurance and saved them money on auto and home.
