I can't believe that I placed my order with MilSurpStuff.comon on Sat the 20th and it showed up today the 24th, What great service!

Now I have to pick up my M91/30 Tula Mosin-Nagant from https://www.indianagunowners.com/forums/members/karlsgunbunker.htmlKarlsgunbunker so I can install it.

Oh cruel fate that I had to pick up my mother in law and missed Karl:tantrum:.

Is it rude to try and pick up a gun on Christmas? :D I'll say that Santa got mixed up and left it with Karl, Yeah that's what I will say as his wife chases my off their porch with my own gun.:):

The tactical rails look great, they are made by UTG and they are aluminum.

As soon as I pick up my M91/30 I'll put them on and give a report, I thought about putting them on my 44carbine but I think that the M91/30 should be first.

i cant wait to see what people say about you putting rails on something that you should just charge the "bad guy" with and if that doesnt work you are supposed to pull the trigger and burn him.

The great thing about a Mosin is that they're cheap enough to do weird stuff to them like that. It's not like you're defacing a $1000 Garand.

Dave at Milsurpstuff.com is the best.
I just got the same UTG scope mount/rail from Dave.
His prices are great and his shipping is FAST.

I am also working a deal with Dave for some Mosin Stripper Clips.
I got 10 in today to test and they work great.
Should have some available next week and more as soon as he gets them.

OK I guess that they both should have one.

I put the rail and scope on my M44.

The only problem I had was that after I drove the pin that holds the rear site on the holes were not lined up with the mount for the rail.

I had to enlarge the hole with a 9/64 drill and even then the fit was tight. I would have gone to a larger bit but I didn't want to move the top of the hole any higher when what I really needed was the hole to move rearward.

I did wallow the hole front to back to get the final fit, glad this was a 25.00 gun.

I'm sure that the problem was with the my gun because the machining on the rails was very nice.

The 25.00 scope dosen't have enough eye relief so I can only see about half the circle and with the scope that far back you can't open the bolt.
