    I wore out the boot leather looking for them today, got about a pound mostly dark ones today. Time to go in search of a proper ribeye steak to have with them tonight while they soak.

    near south bend? Im asking because i havent been out in probably a week and am wondering if they are popping up around here.

    I wasn't even looking today and I found one. So then of course I had to look. I looked in four different areas around town (Wayne Co.) and found only the first one. What a tease. :rolleyes:

    Found 20 yellow sponge today in Madison county, 12 greys in Hancock yesterday. Looks like they are starting hard, not ending. It's been pretty wet here, may account for the late-ish pop.
