Sylvain can be seen here exploring various bunkers along the "Atlantic Wall" in the first episode of "Nazi Mega Weapons" on Netflix. We have a star among us!

    :faint:

I cut my hair a little shorter now though.

Without the camera crew I might have to use a tripod next time to take pictures of myself.
I packed one in my bag.I might be able to take some nice pics with it. :rockwoot:

Thanks Sylvain, awesome stuff. A little of topic, but the guys who designed the WW2 Call of Duty games really did their homework. Those bunkers look exactly like they do in the games.

    Thats what I thought!

The number of times I died trying to clear those bunkers in the game gives you pause when you think about the GI's who had to fight their way through all that.

I saw the entrance of a fourth bunker but I would have needed a machete to get inside.

Today I managed to get inside this one.Lots and lots of vegetation covering both entrances.
It's been a long time since someone was inside.
Also very clean and no writings on the walls. Not like bunkers who are visited often.

Here is the view from the inside.

I think it's about all the somewhat interesting pics I have to show for now.

I'm curious about the structures you see on the satellite pictures that I have yet to explore.

Looks like at least 2 or 3 bunkers and what could be a radar station.

Those 2 big concrete blocks were the base of a large antenna.

Underneath is a large fully underground bunker for the radar operators, batteries and machines.

I also managed to find those two big blocks of concrete that you can see circled in red.

After closer inspection those two blocks are not just two random stand alone structures in the middle of a field.

They are hollow and there is a building underneath.
One corner is visible, the rest is fully burried.

So are they ventilation shafts for a larger underground structure? :dunno:

I looked around and couldn't find any entrance or even visible walls besides that part of concrete.

I took a picture of the top, holding my camera with a small tripod and my arm as high as I could.

You can see it's hollow. With a ladder on the inside. No ladder on the outside though.

If that's the main entrance it's not very practicle. :dunno:

Maybe it has been removed, who knows.Maybe there in another entrance somewhere else and that ladder is part of the exit tunnel.
