Massachusetts Lt. Gov. Kim Driscoll asked state residents Wednesday to open their doors and assist housing migrants after the Democratic governor, Maura Healey, declared a state of emergency Tuesday as the state is faced with a vast shortage of shelters.

"Most importantly, if you have an extra room or suite in your home, please consider hosting a family. Housing and shelter is our most pressing need and become a sponsor family," Driscoll said.

The Constitution only says they cant make you quarter Soldiers, as I recall. Could they try and force this? How many people you think gonna sign up for this to get immigrants to take advantage of, or other nefarious scams/things. Do/would they qualify as dependents?

    Let me Nostradamus this...
The cronies will be reimbursed by the state for housing thousands of "guests".
Later an investigation will uncover that there is no record of anyone actually being housed, only names on lists.
The matter will be dragged out long enough that it just fades away from public attention, maybe by a fresh shiny object.
