This is a pretty nice specimen of an original 1891 Carcano infantry rifle, not cut down or sporterized in any fashion. It's a Terni made in 1897, qualifying it as an antique firearm (not that this matters in a F2F private sale, of course). The serial number on the stock appears to have been force-matched to the barrel/receiver, as the pictures show. Bore is a little dark but the rifling is strong.
I'm in Bloomington and am willing to make a bit of a drive to meet up with any prospective buyer. Asking $250.
