It sort of just motivated me to prep better. I've been focusing on medical and ammo. I need to diversify. Maybe even buy land. How much do you think it would cost to build an underground shelter for 20 people, without all the fancy ammenities.

I would guess that you are well short of the mark. $500K might do a basic underground shelter for 20 people. Not including the supplies and food stores.

If it truly is "doomsday", I would think any shelter that you may be in and still alive would be considered "luxury". Just sayin...

I like how the say "undisclosed location" you find find those bunkers anywhere on the net. All you have to do is narrow it down. Just look at where all the luxury cars are parked.

i like how they think they are gonna be able to make it there in time, when everyone else is gonna be trying to get the heck out of dodge too at the same time.

also, do you guys think a terrorist would be kind enough to notify the news before Ka BOOM? i doubt it
