Shooting my S&W 638 with a Crimson Trace laser yesterday. First shot the whole front of the laser micro switch fell out. Grip has rotted lol. I found out it is only under warranty for 3 years and this one is 11 years old. I'm not going to pay that high dollar for another one for sure. Off to my electronics spare parts. I ended up putting a REAL micro switch in this and it works better than it ever has. The so-called micro switch CT uses is just two pieces of metal like a clicker. Never really worked very well IMHO.

I'll probably finish it off with some black silicon to make it look a little better. This is gunsmith work at its best LOL Oh well, shes my beater.
