    That would be useful for putting smaller price tags on guns. That might keep many of us out of trouble. (How could I spend that much? Look it is $200. Says so right there, honey...)

    I have always wondered what the deal was with the engraving. Is it required? If so only for SBRs? Makes it kinda hard to resell in the future doesn't it?

    Yes it is required. It is required because all manufacturers must mark their products with their info. When you make an SBR, your are the manufacturer, thus the engraving requirement.

    Every gun you own has that. Not just NFA items. They'll all have the manufacturer and the city. (Well, almost every gun...)

    Yah I need to find a local place that will engrave my lower. Im going to have a friend look into doing it, but I dont want him messing anything up :)

    If you do laser engraving, be sure to make certain that it meets the minimum depth requirements of the ATF.
