Considering the amount of time spent at work and the various hazards that could be encountered, and the number of people involved, it doesn't seem like a lot.

Convenience store worker was killed after being shot by two robbers.

Really?... how does one even begin to explain how this is a workplace safety issue?

Saw mention of the barge accident in Jeffersonville. I 2000 barge lid got caught by a wind gust and killed a guy. My father was there for that one. Pretty much freaked him out.

Yeah farming accidents and machinery accidents are all to common. Tractors, trucks and heavy equipment do not discriminate. I am not even sure all of these are reported to OHSHA.

The same way they use that explanation for a bunch of dead soldiers when an Army psychiatrist pulls a weapon and begins blowing them away, despite the assailant's claims that his choice of where to shoot was to remove threats that would be headed over to the sandbox.

Yeah. Workplace safety, not terrorism. Jon Lovitz' "Tommy Flanagan" character looks like a five year old who says he didn't steal the cookies when he's got crumbs all over his face in comparison with most politicians these days.
