Kimber tried to make a polymer 1911 a while back. It didn't go over too well with the 1911 groupies.

If only they had TRIED to mimic the 1911 frame. Polymer fan or foe, that looks like an Astra frame with a 1911 slide.

Ive been staring at this for several days now. I own both Glocks and a 1911 and this just looks wrong. Wrong like a mag with with the rounds in backwards.

I think its the polymer frame with the metal trigger. If you are going to go, you gotta commit and go all the way. That and the trigger guard looks weird to me. almost like its a blank that hasnt been finished yet.
