Very cool. Looks like a blast! Where in Kansas did you hunt, and did you use an outfitter?

roscott, we were in and around Great Bend, Kansas. Leased agricultural fields (mostly wheat stubble and cut milo) and CRP land. We used Ben Webster at Big Kansas Outdoors - Waterfowl Guide Service. Three days of pheasant (half-days actually... sunrise to about 1300), and then one afternoon-to-sunset hunt in laydown blinds for Canada and snow geese (in a field north of Quivira National Wildlife Refuge).

This is a video a friend of mine took a couple weeks ago in KS. It was -16 but no wind. Quite a few birds flying. Looked to me like the places I go in IL.
