    I have seen and handled a few, but not fired them. They were VERY tight and very well made. For a shooter save yourself $2K and get one. If looking for a investment get a Colt and never fire it.

    Newer, better metals, tighter CNC machining and better quality control.

    May want to check with Jerry’s in Rensselaer if you’re down that way. It’s been a while since I was last there but they usually have some single action clones.

    I like the Italian clones because I would never treat a Colt the way I treat this $150 Italian beast....I.E. Carry it around the farm in all kinds of weather...

    I get the itch for one myself a couple times a year, still have my cowboy belt/holster at the ready. I've got a 22 single action but would enjoy a real one in 357. Maybe sometime this year :)

    I have a few from Uberti.... they are VERY VERY VERY good guns.

    I've been out of that market for a while.... might check with Blythe's... call before you go.

    Yes, Jerry's in Rensselaer is good and reasonably priced compared to what I see in Indy.
    I grew up in Rensselaer and have bought MANY guns from Jerry over the years.

    I have been doing a lot of research and am seriously considering the Cimarron Model "P" Old Model 1873-1896. According to "you-tub", which must be true, They are the most accurately made. But the thing I like the most is I can get one in .44 Special which I reload. I am looking at the 4.75 inch barrel. Anyone hear any negative about this model other than price?
