We are a Disney family. We have spent the last 5 out of 7 Christmas's at Disney. The in-laws have a Disney time share at Animal Kingdom which we use often.

Yesterday morning I did not have to rush into work, so I was sitting on the sofa, drinking my coffee watching Glenn Beck. He had on these Disney execs having their meeting. The wife was not happy and she said this family is done with Disney. I agree, doesnt mean I am not happy about it, but I understand. I love the Haunted Mansion and Jungle Cruise.

Thanks Disney people for ruining my fun. Off to pout a bit.

I just don't get it. I've had coworkers with disney tattoos on their arms, one of them flew to PARIS to go to EuroDisney, then got on the plane and came right back. The city is thousands of years old, there is cool stuff to see there. Don't get it.

Nope, D+ subscription will be allowed to lapse and will never step foot into or purchase anything Disney ever again. Plenty of alternatives. Stopped purchasing all Coke products I could identify when they called me out for being too white. Over a year since I've purchased a Coke product and will never go back for the rest of my 10 to 35 year existence, same for Disney.

It feels good to stand up for something. If enough people did, we could make a change in this world of ours.

There are so many grown adults whose lives still revolve around Disney and superhero comics and other kids stuff. It's total arrested development and it's very weird.

They need to grow up and spend their time and money on adult things, like building clones of rifles they saw in movies from the 90s that only got about 15 seconds of screen time.

You should see the guy's office next to me. He's a grown ass married 40something with no kids. His office looks like a Disney store puked all over his office. Dude vacations down there several times a year, and I think around June of last year he had told management that he was going to move down there the first of this year and try to work remotely if they would let him. (He's a software developer)

He's still here, so I think things fell through.

You know, I do think there are people who are so insecure they spend most of their time trying to normalize what would shock anyone else with a normal sense of decency. You grew up with people like this - they were always "pushing the envelope" as to what was socially acceptable --

I've yet to see an example of something or someone who is "woke" who does NOT FEEL THE INTENSE NEED to make sure you're aware of it.

I'd love to take my family. I don't see how we will ever afford it. I feel like such a failure that I'll not be able to make that happen for my son.

I do all those things. But I know what kids are like. I know what I was like at that age. Other kids doing something and I'm unable to cause my parents can't afford to. It's hard on a kid.

Kids also need to learn, that they can't have everything.
People are burying themselves in debt because they never learned that.

As a dad, sometimes the job you have to teach is hard.

They'll survive. And it will make them a stronger human being. There are MUCH more fun things to do closer to home that arent nearly as expensive.

As others have said. Give them a good life otherwise and they will grow up to understand that "missing" Disney isnt important.

Disney Heiress Rants Anti-Woke Right ‘Has Finally Run Amok,’ Calls Activist Rufo ‘Little Punk’

    -----------------------------------------------------
“It is the business world that has been, either by act or omission, feeding the opportunist right wing to distract,” she stated, “us with culture war nonsense while they rifle through the till and empty everyone’s pockets.”

Ummm, is she really talking about rifling through pockets? Really, Disney?

    -------------------------------------------------------

This ‘anti-woke’ right wing nonsense is unsupported by a large majority of Americans. In fact most Americans are offended by it and wish it would just go away.”

Remember that, the ANTI-WOKE are the minority, not the other way round.

    ---------------------------------------------------------

But the second thing you need to rule with a minority is money, lots of it.

Once again, she's taking about using MONEY? Really?

Disney is done in our house. It's been out the door the last few months and this latest made me happy with my decision. They'll put a gay kiss in the light year movie, I called it a while back. Bunch of sick degenerate child abusers. But you have to realize, the way to make Democrat voters isn't through education, it's through indoctrination called "education". The younger you can get to them, the easier it is to destroy their minds and plant their disgusting, perverted ideology in so deep that you now have teens saying they are socialists and go both ways. And they'll be confused their entire life and vote Democrat

Yes, people that enjoy Disney's attention to detail are all immature idiots. Holy crap you people need help. We went to Disney Hong Kong in 2019. It was cheaper to spend 11 days in HK (with a 2 day side trip to Macau) than a 6 day all inclusive WDW vacation. And we got to see, smell and eat our way through HK.

Myself and some of our friends love the parks and he overall experience. Some of you hate it. Hell, some just seem hell bent on telling others how terrible they are for having fun.
