    I am going to go "off the reservation" a little with my thoughts on this. I dont reload but if I did I wouldnt trust my reloads to go bang in a life or death situation. Having said that, I dont know what makes me trust factory loads.

    Some of that could be in purple.

    We use to buy reloads when we would practice or qualify on the range. We would buy large ammounts of wad-cutters. We had more than our fair share of squib rounds.

    I reload.

    I practice with them.

    They are consistent.

    They always go boom.

    I carry them regularly, because if I ever need to defend myself;

    1) I want to use what I practice with and know is reliable

    2) and if I'm the one fortunate enough to live through such an experience, I would owe it to the fact that I was able to practice with hundreds/thousands of rounds of my regular load. ...rather than something that impacts the target differently (higher/lower) because of what/how it was loaded and/or has an unfamiliar recoil that alters my normal recovery time.

    May I ask who you bought them from? I still have some squib wadcutters I bought in Dubois County.
