    I just got a group of AR mag kits from CProductllc.com (after 1.5 months).

    I need some instructions on replacing the parts.
    I am replacing:
    springs,
    followers
    bases. = guts. lol!

    Please advise

    p.s. the mags are USGI aluminums

    pretty simple. remove the floor plate and the spring/follower. replace with new parts. make sure you clean thoroughly prior to reassembly. i dust the inside of the mag body with some dry moly.

    I figured it would be but I also had a question. I chose the SS mag springs, due you think I should rub on some Rem Oil or something similar just to give a light coating?

    i don't like to use oils inside mags. it will tend to accumulate gunk. the dry lube should be sufficient. also, they won't be assembled forever. unlike rhino (and myself) you are going to clean the occasionally, right?

    I'd leave them dry if they're SS.

    Make sure all of the mag bodies have good feed lips (not spread too wide, not cracked, etc). If they're not good, it's not worth it to bend and hammer on them. Just replace 'em.
