My music collection is getting old. I am wanting to get some new music.

What services does INGO use for mp3?
What do you pay per song or per month?
what is the quality (bit rate) of the song that your service provides?

    Thanks in advance guys!:ingo:

The wife buys music now and then from Amazon and iTunes.
I want to say they're mostly $.99 per song.
    Don't know the bit rate.

One of my friends told me that with a little research, everything is free on the internet. He even said you can do it safely while having the ability to cover your tracks. I'd never even think of doing something like that though so I'm still a member of the BMG record club.

If you have a few music junkie friends that still buy CD's take laptop/external hard drive over and spend hours archiving there collection for them as a back up of course.

I [STRIKE]steal[/STRIKE], er, download a lot via usenet groups, and [STRIKE]steal[/STRIKE], er, um, copy a lot from youtube via youtube-mp3, which takes the audio off a youtube video and turns it into an mp3. There are free sources for other things. I've never parted with money for an mp3. Despicable me.

We do NOT condone nor encourage the act of piracy. Please do not provide that type of information on INGO.

I use itunes. I have an 80 and a 160 GB and use them both. You can put any CD onto it. Movies are about 9.00 and TV shows about 1.99. Songs run about .99 to about 1.29. Audiobooks can be any where from 10.00 up.

I buy my songs from Amazon. They do offer free good songs at times. I think there's always free songs that aren't necessarily well known songs/artists. But they are free and some may be good.

Shareaza is a free peer to peer network

And seems to want to take over my computer BTW. Just downloaded this and installed and will be spending some time getiing my settings back to normal. Be aware that this program changes your search preferences to it's own search engine wether you want it to or not. Not generally a problem except the normal ways of setting your preferences don't seem to work. It also seems to have caused some "glitchyness" on my system.

There is a settings option that you can change the download manager from Shareaza to the normal one.I haven't had a problem with it yet.
