Has anyone built their lowers up yet? I finally ordered the magpul kit from psa that has been on sale with free shipping. Curious what direction others are going.

I have the PSA Magpul MOE kit. I am going to take my time and try to polish up the trigger as best I can.

Current plan is to put a dedicated 22LR upper on it, with a better than my other 22s scope. With the customization I hope it will be an Heirloom for my children.

I'm not in a hurry on this one.

Awaiting delivery of my .450 Bushmaster upper.
Lower is complete with bare bones parts.
May end up replacing the trigger but for now, I'm just looking for a brush gun.

I picked up one of the Franklin binary triggers when the NRA show was in town last time. They had a pretty good deal on them, if I recall. With the show coming up again in just over a month, it might be worth checking on them to see what kind of show special they might have.

The work begins. Got Aero parts minus the fire control group and a RRA national match trigger. Had an old butt stock laying around but may spring for a wood one and grip. A 350L upper build with Vortex optics will go on it for my Indiana deer rig.

I haven't decided. I am leaning that direction, but I'm not done researching yet.

    Any advice or counsel?
No, I was asking because I want to build a .22 also and was looking at the Bear Creek uppers and don’t know much about them or what another good option is available

I bought a Bear Creek 22 upper last year 1500 plus rounds through it of several different ammo types and the only problem was caused by me using the mag as a monopod . 16 ” rear charger

I'm sure I'll probably make some changes down the line, but for now here she is, and she's a thumper alright!
Only put two rounds through for a quick function check.
Hope to get out this weekend and get her sighted in.

Here’s what I have so far. Got lpk this evening and threw it together.

Gonna wait to buy the perfect upper that catches my eye. Until then beed to find a cheap 16” upper someone has laying around to throw on it or I’ll order cheapest psa one I can for time being. Hoping to find one a little cheaper abd obviously not have to wait a week or so for delivery.
