Darlington Mini Mart / Corner Cafe / Gas Station

Eat Here and Get Gas

Corner of SR 47 and CR 625 E. Coming in from SR 32, you can take CR 625 E north from the highway and you'll end up right at the place.

It's the ONLY gas station in Darlingtucky, you cannot miss it if you're on SR 47; no matter what direction you're coming from.

Things to do AFTER eating:

Shooting at C-ville Gun Club or at Waveland Gun Club. (I am NOT responsible for organizing either of these, C-ville club is private, if not a member you must be a guest of a member)

Golf at Rocky Ridge (just a mile away from the Mini Mart

Canoe Sugar Creek

Ropkey Armor Museum Ropkey Armor Museum (May or may not be open, but when the Ropkeys are in town, they'll patronize the store. Perhaps they'll stop by?)

If you plan on attending, PLEASE POST IN THIS THREAD. If we're to consume mass quantities of bacon and sausage producuts, I would like to call the restaurant owner and tell 'em.

Seating is, unfortunately, rather limited, but I think we'll manage.

IF you OC, I'm asking you to PLEASE be discreet about it. Please. It will make my life much easier.

I also don't want you hassled by a cantankerous retired CO who frequents the establishment.

I'd love to come, but I won't know my work schedule for Saturday until, well, Friday evening. If I can come, it'll be rather short notice..

I can give a tentative "yes" to this for my wife, my kid, and myself. I'll be teh short fat one OCing a S&W 500 Magnum with 10 1/2" barrel. The sling just makes for SUCH a comfortable way to carry

Whatever direction D-ton is from Crawfordsville.

I just can't seem to get it that 47 runs E-W by the time you're at Darlington.

I mean, you go NORTH out of Crawfordsville...

And I really can't figure out the "odd number" for the highway that goes from Turkey Run St. Park all the way to Sheridan. What an odd route for a highway? It IS indeed more E-W than N-S, so why give it a N-S road number designation? I suppose that's another thread.
