    They use 2 different buildings for their Indy 1500's. Welcome to the Indy 1500 Gun & Knife Show The shows in the South Pavilion are larger than when It's in the Expo Hall. This one is in the South Pavilion and will be the October show before the South Pavilion again. If I was to drive that far, I'd want to go to one of the larger shows. Whether it's worth the drive is very subjective to the individual.

    The Indy 1500 is something of a spectacle. You have to witness it once. Come for the experience, if you are lucky enough to find a deal, good for you.

    Grump is right - the fall, winter, & spring shows in the South Pavilion are bigger and therefore more interesting.
