Just a hint of an update, via the Book of Face .... Mr Lucas has indicated on his page that the initial draft is in progress, addressing the (valid) concerns that have been raised on previous versions.

Not sure when it will be available; but that it will get a thorough preliminary vetting was also noted.
Thanks Bill, it's good to hear that there's activity

Not sure - its being played "close to the vest" right now.

Jim Lucas' facebook posts indicates today is a working day at the capital - but no hearings or anything listed.

Stay tuned to INGO for breaking news!

I've been asked to testify for civil forfeiture reform in September.

We at ISRPA have plans for September as well. I would remain rigidly flexible.:D
Or flexibly rigid maybe. I'm always up for a trip to the Statehouse.

Nothing scheduled right now but they have the interim joint committee members on the site. According to NRA-PVF on the Senate-side the D's have a Delta House GPA (2 Ds and an F). The R's are straight A's but one is an A- (Zakas). Of course on the House-side the old snake-oil salesman Charlie Brown has an F because they don't give out G's or H's. The D's with near-passing grade weren't on our side with CC. Three of the R's are rated A+ (Smaltz, Eberhart and Lucas) with the rest getting an A.
