My question is, if the seller posted his phone number....Why did he have to create an account to contact him?

I created an account because I wanted to get involved here, I didnt know there was a 50 post rule when I made my account, and I can't sell anything just because I saw 1 persons phone number in a thread, does that make sense? I mean is that ok with you? I just want to make sure I am doing right by you.

Does anyone here not read the classifieds? I have only been checking them out for a couple months and I see lots of phone numbers posted on there, but now I am the rule breaker. I can't even post in the classifieds

Seems to me that anyone who posts their email or phone number in their ad is just flaunting the fact that they don't care about the rules they agreed to. Personally, I'd like to see the practice prohibited and offenders taking a nice long timeout.

But then, I'm in favor of the death penalty for slow driving on 465.

That is the rule you just posted, and if I am reading it right it says you didn't say I needed 50 posts to buy from the classifieds. I don't have 50 posts, and I haven't posted anything in there, so I don't see what rule I broke.

The thing is I was just messing around when I posted that. The last guns I bought were from Kempf's 3 months ago. I didn't realize everyone would freak out over a joke, and I didn't know that sarcasm had to be in purple. Like I said i am new here, I still don't know how people react but I am learning more everyday.
