I will second what jugger said....get a manual...get two, and read them. The lee manual is great.

    I started on a pro 1000 and learned a lot...and was frustrated a lot.
Tips to offer... most lee products work fine, some better than others...i love lee pistol dies

Learning your pro1k will take a while...find the rhythm for it and work the press with authority each time.

The pro1k worked best for me when i was beating it like it owed me money.

Get a bullet puller..youll need it.
Make plans to add a second single stage press
Start saving for a dillon 550

Balance scales are slow but much less questionable than digital scales.

Take notes and save your targets...make a binder for each cartridge and track what works and what doesnt.

i have the lyman manual. Ive been reading that. Ive almost got everything to load 9mm and 223. Waiting until i have everything to start. Bullet puller and a case trimmer are things i still need to get. The dies i have are the lee pacesetter for 223 and dillon carbide for the the 9mm.

thanks for taking the time to respond
