    And around 6pm CDT, 7pm EDT you better be hitting refresh on the shield arms website because the ambidextrous 2nd gen is being released and lots of people who got their gen 1 orders put on hold are antsy to get one.

    Until I hear reviews of the new mag that say it SOLVES the ammo rattling issue, I'll pass. I have 3 of the Gen 1 mags and all of them rattle like a baby toy with any more than 13 rounds in the mag.

    I REALLY wanted to love these mags in my G48...but I don't like to audibly print.

    Good to know. Did you have any other issues with the mags?

    Ive been on the fence about buying some - this is the first I’ve heard about rattling issue.

    I've heard as many good reports about these magazines as I've heard negative...
    I prefer consistency and reliability over mere volume...
    I'll probably stick with the OEM 10-roind magazines for the time being...
    Better to trust than be sorry...
