Like many others southeast Tenn, western half of either of the Carolinas, N.E Georgia. I just can't take too much heat and am tired of the cold. Other than those listed the only other would be the hill country of Texas.
I have some family in CO, and before all the bat**** crazy California transplants moved I used to think I'd really like to live there. Now, probably UT or maybe AZ.
We have lived in SoCal, NY (way upstate), rural New Jersey,Boston metro area, and a year in Northern Idaho...plus a total of 20 years here in So Indiana. We are pretty set in staying here in the hills near Louisville.... but if I were to move it woud be to te Red Rock "Dixie" area of So Utah. We almost retired there 13 years ago but came back here instead. Not a bad choice but the dry climate and long-range vistas are something I never grow tired of...and could live there again if the opportunities were good.
