    Once again, INGO s***ing on the police because a crime isn't solved instantly. So many experts that could obviously do it better.
    I must be missing it. Where are we pooping on police, in this thread.

    The thread say that police withhold stuff, so they can test it.
    Then I say 'duh', cause I thought everyone knew it.
    Then someone said Standard Operating Procedure
    and so on.

    I don't see it here Frank. Frustration over a horrific crime but there are things only the killer would know and we realize this. "Lenny the Confessor" ( I think that's from Barney Miller) would be showing up left and right if all the info was public.

    Four people horrifically murdered in a town that hadn't had a homicide in 7 years, that is scary stuff.

    Can't wait to meet this absolute ninja who hacked four people to death in a huge bloody mess without disturbing other people in the same house, then apparently walked off without leaving any immediately actionable evidence at all.

    I can think of a few scenarios where others would not be awakened....one of these is quite common to college students who are out after midnight.
