Horseradish? Yea or Nay?

Thanks guys! These are all great ideas! I like deviled eggs. With the holiday's coming up that would make a good appetizer. I'd have to make sure the kids steered clear of them.

The ingredients of coctail sauce are ketchup, worchestershire and horseradish, fresh horseradish makes it much better

I put a some fresh lemon juice in mine as well... good stuff.

I think the real question here is, what isn't fresh ground horseradish good on? It's great on everything! I like it in saurkraut, on hot dogs, in chili, GREAT in vegetable soup and potato soup, good in sour cream for dipping, mixed with cream cheese for a cracker spread, hot turkey sandwiches, roast beef of course, mixed in with mashed potatoes, it's all around.

Also, try Prime Rib and Horseradish on an Italian Roll. We fix this each New Years Eve. Oh, and your fovorite beer.

I use horseradish, catchup, a splash of lemon juice, and a little garlic to make cocktail sauce, which I use for dipping instead of catchup. Horseradish is great on a hot pastrami sandwich or on a French Dip sandwich. And I've had some really kick-@$$ bloody marys which were made with a spoonful of horseradish in them.

I can eat the stuff by the spoon full. Most of the store bought brands are processed and taste like bitter crap to me. I think it's called Woeber's that has some real good tasting horseradish mustard.

The spicy mustard at Steak n Shake is really really good too! I like Horseradish in mustard or ketchup as described above.

Mix with Ranch dressing for cooked fish. & everything else.
