Hoods Woods

My dad gave me a full set of the "Hoods Woods" survival skills DVD's for my birthday, and having been catching up watching them this weekend (sprained ankle). What an intersting guy. Is anyone else familiar with the series? What do you think?

Good DVDs. Ron Hood presents his material well, and does a good job. I've enjoyed his stuff.

I bought a bunch of his videos on VHS a few years ago. Lost them all in a house fire, unfortunately. But they were very good. I felt he had a wealth of knowledge to share, a lot of which came from actual experience. The videography was very good, as well.
