Tested a homemade shooting bench/table design today. Meant to pack down and fit into most any trunk or backseat. Sighted in some .22's and worked famously.
Folding sawhorse around $30 at hardware store, tabletop and supports were shop scrap. Hardware consists of cabinet hinges and clevis pin (these help prevent tilting)
. Locking lugs from dowels allowed for ambidextrous design. Just rotate boards and flip table.
