Homemade shooting bench

Tested a homemade shooting bench/table design today. Meant to pack down and fit into most any trunk or backseat. Sighted in some .22's and worked famously.

Folding sawhorse around $30 at hardware store, tabletop and supports were shop scrap. Hardware consists of cabinet hinges and clevis pin (these help prevent tilting)
. Locking lugs from dowels allowed for ambidextrous design. Just rotate boards and flip table.

Long guns, yes. Pistols still righty.

I wouldn't mind a chair a bit taller, or put a seat pad. A camp chair would sag too low.

I'm the same, rifle-lefty, pistol-righty...left eye dominant, nice set up...might have to steal that....(no patents yet?)

Google drummer's throne. The adjustable height works for different people and benches while the lack of arm rests and small footprint let you get in close.

Also a cool item. I have use for this elsewhere.
I will forward dimensions as requested.

On a side note, I did also source another sawhorse during design. It had adjustable legs, and was not much more ($15?) than chosen model. The issue was weight; at or more than double the non-adjustable version. Just too much to be usefully comfortable.
