    And it's all for your own good. If you have friends or family overseas, they're not going to be sending you any holiday packages this year, thanks to the ever watchful minions at TSA and Homeland Security. They've essentially banned packages over 1 Lb., (altho, one writer says they can send them as long as they have the addressees SSN to give to a foreign entity).
    When I lived overseas we were always sending packages home for friends and family. Guess those days are gone now. I feel so much safer. Don't you?

    Wow this really sucks. I used to do a lot of international shipping. This is a major trade restriction that will adversely affect the economy, not to mention our freedom.

    Who in their right mind would give out their SSN? Practically nobody. I guess that's the point.

    Sounds like the TSA is limiting weight on mail cargo carried in passenger jets (airmail).

    Shouldn't effect anything else. Doesn't the USPS use FedEx for most air transport?

    Still pretty silly.
