So this happened at the range today...

I was trying some new ammo and seeing if I needed to adjust my 507K or if the new stuff hit where the old stuff did. Things were going well, just needed to do a minor adjustment, and all of a sudden the 507K goes dark. Didn't want to waste range time troubleshooting it, so used the opportunity to practice with irons through the dead dot.

Later when I was at the register checking out, the guy cleaning the lanes comes out and hands me the battery cover to my dot! The screw holding the battery cover apparently backed out. No battery, no dot. At least troubleshooting was easy after that.

I have emailed Holosun to find where to get a new screw, just waiting on a response. Obviously I need to apply some threadlocker to it when I get a replacement. Will blue threadlock be too much? Is there a weaker one I should use?

Check your battery covers kids! Learn from my fail.
