Not a fan of his politics, but one thing I always did respect about Harry Reid was that he grew up in a literal dirt floor shack in Nevada with parents who couldn't afford a pot to **** in. Also supposedly he once tried to strangle a man for trying to bribe him.

Maybe there are no good Democrats, but I like a guy from rural Nevada a lot better than an East Coaster who grew up in the lap of luxury. RIP.

Oh yes, he pulled himself up by his bootstraps, sucked the government teat his whole life and amassed over $10 million being a humble public servant.

Then, he relished being a liar if he could win by doing so.

The outgoing Senate Minority Leader even bragged to CNN that the comments, which had been described as McCarthyism, helped keep Romney from winning the election.

So, in Reid's world, it is perfectly acceptable to make a defamatory charge against an opponent to damage his campaign.”

I sure wouldn’t loan him any whitewash…
