My apologies if this has been mentioned already? How about the I believe it was the famous Sears Ted Williams series.
I have a single shot .22lr lever action with the Ted Williams brand.
    Interesting little plinker.
Not sure who made it or who sold it.
Yes, Ted Williams had his name on everything at one time.

Do you know what year your Ted Williams 22 was made? I had read that Sears replaced the J. C. Higgins line with Ted Williams at some point. I assume in the 60's.

Probably a Sears sold S/S 12 gauge, Springfield model 511 manufactured by Savage Arms. Sorry the picture is upside down.
Not sure of the year made.

Absolutely love the J.C. Higgins stuff. I have two Model 20 pump shotguns and the action on them is insanely smooth! Plus they slam fire which is always fun. One was made in 1952 and the other in 1960. I've got a spreadsheet of all the J.C. Higgins guns, I'm planning on trying to snag them all since most of them are fairly cheap.

I have my dad's J.C.Higgins Double 9 .22 pistol which is a High Standard Hombre
On a side note, the Numrich catalog used to have about a dozen pages that cross referenced store brands with manufacturers, not sure if the website does it or not.

In 1972-73 Sears wanted a new line of larger bore pistols to offer. They went to High Standard and they sub-contracted to a new upstart company called 'Dan Wesson' who produced their model 15 in .357. I sold my last one to a friend so I don't have a pic but I bought it for $225 about 6 years ago.

    They can still be had...
