May the road rise to meet you,
May the wind be always at your back,
May the sun shine warm upon your face,
May the rains fall soft upon your fields,
    And, until we meet again,
May God hold you in the hollow of His hand.

    True story:

I showed up at work one day long ago on March 17th wearing no green clothes. One of the girls I worked with made mention of the fact I wasn't wearing any green.

"Yes I am," I said. "I have green on my toenails!"

She asked, "Where did you find the green nail polish?"

With a quizzical look on my face, I replied,"They make green nail polish?"

    From her, "EEEEEWWwwwwwwwwwwwww!"

I don't have any green to wear. Kinda like getting pinched anyway, especially if it leads to... gosh darn it to heck... family friendly.

Happy St Pat's everyone! Here's a pic of the Chicago River last Saturday morning! The boat in the background is one of the boats pouring the dye into the river.

    Erin go Bragh! :D

Éiri a bothar suas chun bualadh leat.
Go raibh an ghaoth go brách ag do chúl.
Go dtaitní an ghrian ó chroí ar do chlár éadain,
agus bháisteach ag titim go bog mín ar do ghoirt.
Agus go gcasfar le chéile sinn arís,
Go dtuga Dia a shealbhú tú ar an dtearmann a lámh.
    Lá Shona Fhéile Pádraig!

    Éirinn go Brách!

Tá a fhios agam, ceart? Is féidir le bogearraí aistriúcháin nua-aimseartha cabhrú le duine ar bith a labhairt na Gaeilge! Bhuel, scríobh na hÉireannaigh ar aon nós. Ag labhairt go bhfuil scéal eile toisc go bhfuil aon cheann de seo cacamas pronounced ar an mbealach a bhfuil sé litrithe! Tá sé ar mire!
