Went in to pick up my new Springfield XDm 10mm 5.25" today and they ended up having a CMMG Banshee 300 10mm pistol in stock as well. I've been searching for the burnt bronze version for weeks now, but it's really tough to find them in any color. Didn't necessarily want another black gun, but I couldn't pass up actually finding one. Then there was the added benefit of no FFL fee, no shipping, no waiting, not having to do another background check, etc. I feel like it was meant to be... and technically I still kept my word of making only one more gun purchase!

Ruger MKII, customized by Clark Custom with an Aimpoint Micro. It will put 10 shots into 1" at 50 yards. Fun little toy.

Walther Q4 Steel Frame, have to say I like the pistol quite a bit after the initial range session and subsequent breakdown and cleaning. The machining is what I expect from a German gun , and by that I mean not a tool mark anywhere plus the slide to frame fit is better than any sub Dan Wesson quality 1911. Which to be honest I really like, this is definitely an odd pistol all things considered , but I could see this being the P7 of my generation eventually.
