Dang I'm not one of those statistics for this year! Now last year, esp in the fall I bought 6 within a 2 month period, lol. And not sure how much ammo. Still working on the ammo and buying one from a private party this weekend

Compare that to the 1.5B rounds sold JUST in the month of Dec. '08. If that kind of buying was sustainable, that would be 18 B rounds in a year, 2.25 times a typical year's production.
Now, only if even a tenth of that number is willing to learn to shoot and shoot well. Someone mentioned that we need to become a nation of riflemen again. That could not be truer! We need more shooters, not just gun owners!!!
