Guns Bought this Year could Outfit 2 Armies

I feel good knowing I did my part to help.

Just think of how high those numbers would be if you could actually find stuff to buy! Its a fraction of what people are TRYING to buy.

Dang I'm not one of those statistics for this year! Now last year, esp in the fall I bought 6 within a 2 month period, lol. And not sure how much ammo. Still working on the ammo and buying one from a private party this weekend

New piece of data (new to men anyway):

"Each year U.S. ammo manufacturers make about 8 billion rounds, according to the National Shooting Sports Foundation, the trade association for the firearms and ammunition industry."

Compare that to the 1.5B rounds sold JUST in the month of Dec. '08. If that kind of buying was sustainable, that would be 18 B rounds in a year, 2.25 times a typical year's production.

Now, only if even a tenth of that number is willing to learn to shoot and shoot well. Someone mentioned that we need to become a nation of riflemen again. That could not be truer! We need more shooters, not just gun owners!!!
