Is rather it be used to death than become a safe queen. Then again, I feel the same way about cars: use them for their purpose.
Thats why I roll my eyes when I see all these safe queens on here.

Particularly the ARs, that finish on the GI mags and the receivers wears through pretty quick. I have an M16A1 upper the isrealis coated in some sort of black paint like finished because the finish wore through and its bare aluminum

Here is an example, these are current issue Philippines army weapons during a rest stop for the patrol. They are rough and well used, but still taken care of and fully functional. They make not be pretty but they get the dang job done.

Calling this hardware is stretching it, but food to an Army is everything..

    Honestly, looks okay to me.

Boris: Ukrainian GI chow is not bad when you’re hungry, what say you Yuri?

Yuri: Much better than the Russian box nasties we got from APC.

Boris: I think those are better after shooting APC with Javelin.

Yuri: This chow could use some Tabasco. Are the Americans air-dropping pallets of MREs again soon?

Boris: Soon I hear. Those little Tabascos make everything better. Sergei really loved them.

Yuri: Sergei who ran out and tried to catch pallet of MREs?

    Boris: Yes, the late Sergei.
