I have to admit, just their names scream redneck.

Levi, his buddy Cody, and "Cass County Conservation Officer Brenda Louthain"

    Que the banjo music.

The last words before the explosion: "Hey Y'all, watch this".

It looks to me like the round or wadding wasn't seated on the powder charge, resulting in a huge pressure build up in the area ahead of the chamber / percussion cap vent.

Wonder if he did not realize there already was a load in the barrel or intentionally overloaded it to make a bigger bang?? Should have been able to tell with the length of the ram rod sticking out if it had a load in it..drunk or not...either way rates full scale on the stupid meter...at least there is a good chance that he probally..ah maybe won't do that again:nono:

Not a double charge...not with black powder at any rate...even a quadruple charge will not blow up a muzzleloader like that. I would be the farm on it being loaded with smokeless powder...happens often enough and the damage to the gun is typical of a smokeless powder kaboom.

I would like for you to say this to his uncle face to face I could sell tickets

Hell I like to see him say it Brenda...that woman doesn't take stink off anybody...lol..
