I ordered a black 1.5" belt from Comptac for my MTAC holster I already have. Ordered on 2/6 and I should receive it today. Comptac service is incredible.

This too shall pass. I bought the "leather" belt with the stiffener, because I am cheap and didn't want to pay Beltman prices. After several weeks with the 5.11 belt it lost its color. It's a stiff belt and may be ok if looks don't matter, but I was unhappy with mine. It looks like crap because it scratches very easily.

I also agree that their interpretation of "brown" is a little off.

Pretty much my experience with my 5-11 belt. Some of the color came off, and it scratches easily. It makes for a decent work and field belt, but not a dress belt. It's what it is, IMHO: a $30 gun belt.

Still, I've had it for a year or so, worn almost every day, and it still holds a gun nice and tight.

I orderd a Blackhawk, I think it's 1.5". Has the metal buckle, that you lace the belt through. I really like it, and heck you can not go wrong with Blackhawk products.
